Under Construction - Stay Tuned

Having trouble passing your inspection? Fret not, it's entirely possible that your inspection station may not be well versed in the JDM Market, nor the crossover translation for JDM Markings to DOT Markings. And yes, there is a correlation between compliant markings.

Locations of E-Code/DOT Compliant Stampings

RB1/2 Honda Odyssey

E-Code on topside by mounting tab.

DOT Stamping on HID Ballast on underside. Requires removing the headlight entirely to visually inspect.

Side Markers

Side markers have been a hot topic recently with a lot of OOP inspections requiring them. Side markers located on mirrors will pass as a side marker light.

If you don't have lights on your mirror, you can opt to drill marker lights into your front fender panel, and tie them into the running light wiring, in a similar style to some later models of the JDM Honda Odyssey (as pictured)

I recommend the side markers off a Yamaha R6 Motorcycle, as they're small, inexpensive, and do the job perfectly. I do also recommend contacting a body shop for install.
